Major Winter Storm
A winter-like storm moved into the
area dropping about 1/2 inch of freezing rain, sleet, and ice, followed by 3-5
inches of snow. The effects were felt when large branches and limbs began
falling onto homes and power lines. We received approximately 275 calls
between 10 pm Thursday and 4 am Friday. A large part of the Mid-West was
effected by the storm.

Severe Storm
SCFA took approximately 375 calls between 19:30 and 23:30.
Most incidents were damage to utilities, with some EMS and a 2 Alarm house fire in Eureka.
